Between waking and seeing the stars and getting in the car – a Southerly buster suddenly blew in
A line of whales were splashing but not breaching or fin slapping. When is a photograph worth taking? When is a photograph worth sharing? I once argued that a photograph is only relevant if it changes the reality of what was there, if the light and composition lend themselves to an aesthetic only photograph can capture. Now I often take images as a record,and with digital photography this is too easy to do.
It was so windy the sand attacked the legs like sandpaper.
