Old Camp, Coffs Harbour
During WW2 a large settlement of up to 200 Aboriginal people lived here, near the rubbish tip (now the adjoining Botanic Gardens). The women worked as domestic servants the men worked on the farms or as loggers, railway fettlers and gate controllers.
