Writing about Sydney

I hear a crash, look out from my study and see that a tree snake has just jumped into the rose bush in front of me on the bedroom balcony. Where did it jump from? From the roof?!

Here is a back home post from 2014 about Eastern Spinebills discovering our growing garden, and as I type this I can hear their quick calls. It’s good to be back enfolded in the natural world.
