What you so easily miss
Aug 1
The hottest day of the year, yesterday’s cold wind, replaced by a hot westerly. We have no shame, watch a pair of Striated Pardelotes mate in seconds over the banks of the Miilba.
We turn to see an Osprey floating in the water, have missed the hunt.
It take off with a large fish, managing to lift with great effort.
Back home the dwarf tree frogs are calling below in our small rainforest garden, when I look over the edge they stop.
The Frogmouth is still here, for over a week now.
