Waiting for the sun, Valla

Here I am waiting for the sun, Kinich Ahau Yucatan name of the Mayan Sun God, thinking of Tulum, 25 years ago, the ‘place of the dawning sun’ on the cliff edge, with a beautiful beach, and how we loved that coast, how much fun we had, how much younger we were.

Now I wait with more patience and love this place even more.
