Blue Poles garden

After three and a half years the clay pan is finally turning into a garden. Comfrey, gypsum, compost and mulch all help. A garden is an experiment. The local plants do best and most of the garden is native, a Davidsons Plum that struggled for 3 years, never had more than 4 leaves and only reached 10 cm, has finally died. We won’t be alive when the rainforest trees begin to reach a significant size. Gardens are future-oriented.
